Great watch and app to track fitness and goals

I bought this to replace a FitBit. The watch and the connect app are excellent and a significant upgrade from the FitBit I was using.
One of the big features for me was the ability to track indoor walking/running. I use an indoor track often during the winter when it's dark when I can exercise and during the summer when it gets too hot in the afternoon (100+ F). It took some calibration (a session on a treadmill) and use in outdoor sessions to get accurate distances and paces. With this done it is giving accurate and consistent data even with no GPS signal.
I love the challenges and expeditions. They help with my motivation and consistency.
I use it for tracking my training for Race Walking and some of the tracking and features are more geared for running or pedestrian walking. This is not unexpected since Race Walking and Power Walking are more niche sports. I have been able to get the information I want in most cases by downloading the activities and calculation. For example, to get my stride length I download the activity and use the step count and distance to get my stride length. It would be nice to get the step count and stride length for a walking activity directly on the Garmin or the Connect App.
Love the watch and it has replaced my other devices and apps for fitness tracking.

Expected to like it, but I love it. So much information about performance, rest and recovery. Love all the features and customization options Battery life is awesome. Very stylish too.

Great Battery! Features need accessibility

I absolutely love the battery life the past couple weeks only having to charge it 1-2 times over 2 weeks! Coming from an Apple Watch that is amazing. But some of the features even like going for a walk or a quick bike ride is difficult and less intuitive than the Apple Watch. Pros and cons. I wish I could locate my phone too but maybe I just need more time with the watch. The tutorials helped a tad.
