GREAT watch for the bargain

My wife got a Garmin and I was immediately jealous. I happened to find the Forerunner 165 on sale for Black Friday and decided to pick it up. I wasn't looking for anything fancy, just a simple sport watch to track my runs and other health vitals. This did all of that and more. My wife has a more fancy Garmin with more features, but she likes my watch because she thinks it looks more sporty. I love how accurate it is, I love the customization options when it comes to watch faces, and I really love the battery life! This watch does everything I need it to do and more. It is still not a 100% replacement for my Apple Watch, but I don't need it to be right now. I am, however seriously considering upgrading later on down the road to another Garmin with more features but for right now this is the perfect Garmin for me.

A reasonable replacement for a Vivoactive but…

I got this because the latest Vivoactive doesn’t support the altimeter. It doesn’t come with a distinction between indoor and outdoor activities. The navigation is more complicated than the Vivoactive. The features seem to be aimed more at runners where I divide my time between walking and biking. In fairness, I haven’t tested it for outdoor biking yet.

The perfect Smartwatch

I bought this as a replacement for my Fitbit Sense 2 Smartwatch. This by far is the best Smartwatch I have ever had. It is everything I have ever wanted in a smartwatch, including a 7-day battery, step counter, watchful eye on sleep patterns, cardio and many other available options on this watch at no extra cost. I believe I can say now I am definitely a Garmin Smartwatch fan.

I’ve had this watch for about a month and I’m really loving it. So glad I went with this watch instead of an Apple Watch. Battery life is exceptional and it’s great for tracking workouts. Also lightweight
