Love the lights, hate the springs.

The lights work perfect and look great. However, The lights keep falling out of the ceiling. It seems that some of the lights have issues with where the springs connects to the light. We bought 2 packs of 6 and 7 out of the 12 lights have this same issue. The slot where the spring clicks into the light seems to be too big/loose and wont hold the spring in place causing the spring to come out of the light. Aside from requesting that Govee to warranty out the light and take the 50/50 chance I will get another one with the same issue, the only other option is to glue the clips into the slot on the light itself.

I bought the recess lights because I didnt want to be like everyone else out there with the same ole look of recess lights on their home. I wanted to have something different that has multiple uses year yound...this is it. The lights are very easy to install and come with a template of the size hole to cut for exact fitment. All you have to do is wire up the lights, download the app, find the lights with the app, and then start having fun with the different settings. There are a lot of different settings preset that are on the app that are really nice with the lights, but you can always create your own. You can also control each light individually which is nice to create different patterns and such. The lights are well built and easy to use; and they look great. Colors are vibrant and bright. I woudl recomend these to anyone.

I recently purchased the Gover retrofit recessed lights to replace my led lights that were already installed in my home. It was such a simple process to swap them out. Each light took less than 30 seconds. It takes more time to change an old school light bukb.

We had standard white lights for years and then I found these!! Fantastic lighting around the pool! Changing the scenes, having a daily schedule set up it’s endless! Love all the products and it just keeps getting brighter and more colorful around here!

I upgraded my entire house (50+ lights) and the ease of installing as well as the setup in the app was very simple. Being able to create different groups based on what I need as well as changing each light is what I have been wanting to do for a while. Product came in very quickly and I enjoy how simple the instructions are as well as how the product stays connected to the network (have used other products that were not as easy to work with).
