Lowest setting still too bright

The lights are great once you get them to work correctly, which unfortunately, took longer than I'd like to admit..as connectivity with these lights is hit or miss during the set up. Once you are able to finally set up the lights everything does work seamlessly. However, my biggest problem is that the lights are still too bright even on the lowest setting.

Installation of the lights was a breeze. These work just as I expected them to. However, I found the app to be a bit of a mess, which is not a deal breaker, since I can use Google Assistant to control them.

I can not get the 6"retrofit recessed lights to fit into my existing can. I have messaged your company twice about my issue and have not heard back. I would like to know how to get them to stay in the space.
