Installation is very straightforward (at least for me because I don't have a multi-story house) and everything worked as I had hoped. The app is not as intuitive as it could be but it does allow you to create nice effects easily. I particularly like the "shared" effects that other Govee users have created.
I have the original version so be aware that if you want a "pure" white, you will want to get the upgraded models.

The 3M tape didn't want to stick to my soffit very well. I fixed that problem other than that I am happy with them

I bought a 100 foot out door led set for the house. Needed 32 (2x 16)ft more . When i connected them the 32 ft and they did not turn on. It says up to 150 not more. So it went dead at 101 to 132 ft. Soni ended up plugging the power cord into th 32 ft. Now we have 2 apps for 1 purpose.

It’s what our home needed. They go up like a piece of cake. Just remember the cables and power units and what not need to be out of the elements. It is a really cool application for your home and it’s so customizable. I really really like them. If you can spend the money I’d say it’s a phenomenal investment. No more hanging Christmas lights on my gutters!
