Great lights!

I really like how the lights looks like at night and the way they are fully customizable and the presets makes them one of a kind. The only reason I am not giving this product a 5 star review is for the fact that the lights keep falling down. The adhesive is not strong enough. I ended up having to use gorilla glue gel to keep them in place.

The Last Christmas Lights You'll Ever Hang

I've installed over 40 sets of lights and would hope I could install at least another 40 more. These lights have changed the lives of so many people, including myself, especially because these go up and stay up, and can be used all year. If I could give these lights 10 stars I would. No one has ever regretted spending the money to have them installed with us here in NJ and also PA. Being Licensed and Insured helps, but being a Govee Partner and Affiliate is what it's all about.

Amazing lights but..........

I absolutely love my new permanent lights and have gotten numerous compliments from neighbors and even had several say they were going to put some up next year after seeing mine. While the installation was pretty simple and the kit came with some good hardware and accessories, it just baffles me that they do not include enough clips for every light, the adhesive is great, but it's far from "permanent", particularly in harsher environments. The other thing that confounds not only me, but many other customers is the decision to NOT sell the extension cable separately. I was fortunate that I only had 1 break in my run and the included extension covered it, but that isn't the case for everyone. Selling extra extension cables separately seems like a simple add-on and a no brainer. That being said, I would still recommend the lights and am very happy with my purchase.

Great Lights, Won't Stick

The lights themselves are great! Bright, colorful. Easy to control. One recommendation would be an automatic season changer. Use the date to determine what color scheme the lights will be. Would love to set them and forget them.
Losing one star for me because I have had to replace the sticky film 2 times almost on each light. It just won't stick to the painted wood awnings that I have. I have used alcohol wipes before and made sure it was dry. Probably going to be using hot glue or some super 3M tape because this won't stick.

These are a third of the price of other lights I have looked at. They are extremely easy to install. They have better/easier functionality than most permanent lights. App could be revamped but easy enough to use.

Govee lights on open eaves

These lights are difficult to install on open eaves. They require a lattice to be installed and then the light to be installed onto them. Quite a pain!
