Bough treadmill and remote stopped functioning after a year. Treadmill became useless. It would only connect ''sometimes''. Researched online and come to figure out its a very common problem. Then why are they selling these? I had to buy an extra remote for 90$ which ended up not working like the first one. Ask yourself why they have to sell a remote separately? It's a dishonest brand. Their device has serious technical defect and they are still selling it to you knowing you will need another remote. couldn't get the treadmill refunded and the remote was useless. Avoid this brand. Im trying to save you the waste of money.
This is actually a dangerous piece of equipment - I have tried to get a hold of the manufacturer as I have not been able to successfully use the treadmill once as it shuts off at random intervals so I cannot trust it to use it.
Have not heard back from the company.
Best Buy - Do better and be mindful of the partner companies you use.
The WORST thing about this treadmill is that the remote is the only item that will turn on the treadmill belt and in 10 months it suddenly stopped working. I replaced the battery and it still wouldnt work. When i contacted SuperFits (now called Costway) they said I was out of the 30-day warrantee and they couldn't help me. What a joke! Other crappy qualities: (1) it's really slim so it's not very comfortable for long walks (2) It's flimsy and will hurt your joints to run on (unlike a gym treadmill or running outside). Do not buy this, go for walks outside and save your money.
Not a huge fan. The belt slipped after the second run and now has to be adjusted constantly and makes a ridiculously loud noise. The beep volume is very loud and can’t be adjusted from what I can find and the treadmill is so narrow that it’s barely runnable and I am a small person. All this being said it was on sale for 400$ you get what you pay for.
For those who feel shot without a remote, go download their app Gymax and VOILA! your phone becomes your remote and you also get to see others on the app racing alongside you. The treadmill is an average noise maker so I wouldn't pay attention to the picture where your baby is sleeping next to it lol. I will let you folks know once I clock more mileage.
The running belt is not smooth and rubs the shoes, creating lots of friction and the residues of the shoes damaged by the belt goes inside and it is too small for running ,even though trying to maintain it,still not balanced. Small area makes it out of balance for running, not safe at all,the manual is terrible, can not find details anywhere
I've had this treadmill for about three weeks now. It is pretty bare-bones but definitely gets the job done for a non-athlete trying to be more active.
Pros: - Easy to assemble (it's super heavy but not much assembly is required) - Easy to use (you have a remote control to turn the speed up, down, and off) - Pretty quiet when in use (I use it in the basement and people on upper floors can't hear it) - Screen at the bottom tells you speed, distance, calories, and time - Wide range of speeds available
Cons: - Bluetooth does not work -- I have multiple devices but none can connect to it - Volume for start up/adjusting the speed is SO LOUD and can't be turned down. The only way to fix this is to mess with the motherboard which disables the volume completely. (there are YouTube videos to do this) - Can't access the app that is supposed to come with it (Gymax). The app requires a code, but the code can't be found anywhere -
Other considerations: - The treadmill is foldable, but not if you want the arms on it. The arms have to be screwed in (8 screws total; quite finnicky) so this is not reasonable if you want to fold it up after every use AND want the arms. - Speed and distance are in mi/h only (can't be adjusted to km/h) - It's a bit wobbly but I might just need to tighten up some screws
