Defective out of the box.

These speakers looked promising but did not work at all. After two hours of attempting to install them on windows and linux systems I gave up and returned them.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This speakers have amazing clarity, everything sounds clear without muddiness.not the loudest bass though if that's the only thing your are looking for.
