When we first got the Mila operating, we had some definite air quality issues despite having an air purifier in every room. Seeing our AQI drop to zero after a couple hours was both shocking and reassuring. It was incredible to actually see the numbers on how effective our air purification efforts are.
It was also shocking to see just how high the AQI gets when cooking indoors. We knew the air quality definitely got worse to some degree, but seeing the numbers was illuminating, and it was also wonderful to know that we could enable Bubble Boy mode and have Mila go full-tilt to correct the indoor AQI as soon as it starts spiking.
The most interesting thing was when we switched out distilled water for purified drinking water in our humidifiers. There was a temporary shortage of distilled water in our area and the instructions for the humidifier said that purified drinking water was ok to use if you didn't have distilled water. Our AQI would stay consistently between 100 and 200. We didn't know initially what had happened, but after some trial and error and some truly above-and-beyond support from the Mila customer service team, we determined that the purified drinking water contained enough minerals that it was causing our PM1, PM2.5, and PM10 readings to skyrocket constantly.
We finally were able to switch back to distilled water and the readings have gone back to zero a majority of the time, with spikes only really happening when we leave the windows open for long periods or when we cook indoors. It has been such a crazy journey with the addition of the Mila, but I do feel like it's giving us crucial insight into the quality of the air we breathe. Without it, we might never have known the possible detriment that the purified water could have on our health when used in our humidifier. We are Mila users for life.

The Mila is a beautiful product from start to finish. The ordering experience, the quick arrival, the product itself, and don't get me started on the unboxing experience. It was so fun to unbox and see how simple the product is to use, I wish I could order a Mila more often. Although I love how the Mila blends in, I love to show it off to every visitor because of just how beautiful of a product it is. Who knew an air filter could be so fun?

Mila is the only air purifier on the market that provides an additional layer of personal touches that make it more than just an air purifier. In conjunction with the app, and the personalized settings available, it’s possible to use it to a) clean your air (obviously), b) become more aware about the air quality both inside and outside your home, and c) use it to aid with things like sleep and meditating (white noise option, how I love thee), and d) make your home pretty due to their thoughtful design. When you consider how Mila goes above and beyond based on these use cases, their value is even more appealing than if they were just another nice purifier.

The Mila is the third air purifier I've purchased, and the first of them to be smart. I use the app daily, and appreciate being able to check in when I'm away from home. Another useful feature is the programs. I can fall asleep and not worry about my filter firing up full force since it's on the sleep setting.

Might be TMI, but my friend came over to my apartment this weekend and used my bathroom, which unfortunately was left in a not-so desirable condition. Mila immediately detected higher levels of... pollution... and went to work right away to clean the air and rescue me from the unwelcomed surprised. Thanks Mila! For cleaning my air and keeping AQI levels healthy, but also for low-key calling out my friend without me having the need to do so. Lol.

I never knew how dry my house was, and how to get rid of some of the cooking smells. This girl takes care of that and BONUS, I don’t have to feed her!!!

The messages on the display are funny. "It smells like victory!" is my favorite. Turn down service is great before bed to get the room extra clean. I put one unit in my basement on Bubble Boy mode, it is working very well.
