Terrible design, push button keeps braking!

Microwave lasted about four months it actually stop heating, the company has replaced it twice in two weeks because the push button keep breaking, my last one was installed yesterday Friday and today Saturday, yes the next day, it broke again!! Terrible design, when it worked it heat up fine no problem.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Breaks easily

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The microwave has given us nothing but trouble since we got it. The push button to open the microwave broke on the first day. Once we got that fixed, within a week the glass on the microwave door shattered while we were taking food out of the microwave.

Bad latch system

Microwave was installed as part of my warranty. Took 2 weeks to finalize the delivery and installation and only lasted 3 days unfortunately the door latch broke and I have food stuck inside until they are able to troubleshoot it or change it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

One Draw Back

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased new home and this microwave was already installed. The only reason I did not give a 5 star rating is because of the requirement to hit stop and unlock before the door will open. Therefore, you cannot pause to stir and the pickup where you left off. You have to reprogram the time.

Not worth the money

Door button is nothing but a problem. Door hangs up on unlocking. Turntable support ring is too small and causes things to tilt when removing. Could be a safety issue with hot liquids

Don't Bother

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave lasted about three weeks after installation and then the button that opens the door broke. The good news: Whirlpool is replacing the microwave and installing a new one. The bad news: it's the same model. This is our THIRD Whirlpool microwave since June of 2023. The first one lasted 20 months and of course we were out of the 12-month warranty. Because our microwave is a built-in with a trim kit, we are limited as to what we can buy, so we bought another Whirlpool model that fit our space. But when this one goes, we'll look for something else and make it work somehow. What happened to Whirlpool quality??

Attractive Garbage

I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing! The latch broke the first time I used it. I will be returning it tomorrow with my son’s dinner trapped inside, having had it less than 12 hours. Incredibly disappointing and I have to drive another two hours round trip to return it. Never again, Whirlpool.
