[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this Microwave to replace an older Whirlpool unit that was installed in 2002 which failed. The new unit works great but I would not recommend it for older folks like me as the function dials are barely visable. You could have provided a large print page with a a picture of the butons extra large.The older unit had nuch better ledgeable function buttons. I need a magnifying glass to even warm a cup of coffee. The picture could even be an option. The operation manual was so bad no one can read it.

good features,easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was one of the very few that would fit in the built in space and almost identical to the one being replaced. The unit has a number of good features, instructions are clear,,, seems a littler more powerful than the one being replaced. Happy with it so far. Only concern: the last one(same brand) failed after 2 1/2 years of fairly light use. waiting tom see how this one performs.

Very disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We figured buying a new microwave was a no-brainer. They are self-explanatory and not complicated. WRONG when it comes to this model. Setting the time and/or power level is not self-evident and it requires looking it up in the manual. You cannot directly input the time because you have to inefficiently use + or - instead of just entering the time (the numbered buttons only go from 1 to 6). Same with the power level. Also, once you figure out how to turn off the child lock, it is not permanent (must be reset every time there's a power outage.). Also annoying but not a big deal, the open button squeaks when we use it. Very disappointed regarding ease of use in general - it's not rocket science people! Make it self-explanatory to use! Microwaves are used everywhere and you shouldn't have to figure it out.
