Don't use the measurements in the manual

We bought this trim kit as well as whirlpool microwave 1.6 cu.ft. as recommended, the front face fits perfectly but the bottom tray does not fit the microwave. Our handyman had to get creative to make it work. We had new cabinets installed and the installer cut the hole for the microwave according to the specs in the instructions for the trim kit but upon install we realized the specs are off and we had to measure the actual parts to get an accurate idea if what to cut. I absolutely love the way it looks, we just had to pay a lot extra to have it installed due to the errors . In the end we weren’t able to use the bottom tray or legs at all.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
