[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this product 1 month ago and it is already broken. The button you push to open this microwave will not open the microwave. You can push it in and it must have lost its spring or something. We got the door open to remove what was being heated. The door will not latch and the light in the microwave will not turn off.
We have done everything required to initiate and replacement...we are still waiting.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bad door release design.

This microwave came with my house that was new construction. Like most other negative reviews I have seen for this model, my door release button is wearing out after 2 1/2 months of use. Every time I press it to open the microwave door to put food in, it takes a long time to unlatch. I can feel the button depressed all the way with the latch not responding. It's gotten worse over time. With Thanksgiving around the corner, the timing couldn't be worse. This is the worst microwave I've ever had. This is obviously a poor design with this many negative reviews for the same exact issue. Is there a recall for this?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave was installed by my builder. I moved in and it started tripping breakers. I waited for a month for a replacement and first time using it broke with my food inside - can’t get the door open. Now waiting another month for a replacement. Food still inside the microwave.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not really happy with it. It came with our new house and the first one broke the first time I used it. The button to open it broke. I don’t like that there isn’t a number pad. It’s tough to set a time for certain things. The turn table keeps going off track as well. It does heat well and quickly.

worst feature is the two step door opening- why?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit and it's trim kit seem well made and very sturdy, BUT. after three days something happened to the door loch system. Door will not open in spite of doing everything suggested in the owners manual. Waiting for Dec 10 service appointment ( 15 day wait) good thing we have our spare GE microwave
