Very disappointed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We figured buying a new microwave was a no-brainer. They are self-explanatory and not complicated. WRONG when it comes to this model. Setting the time and/or power level is not self-evident and it requires looking it up in the manual. You cannot directly input the time because you have to inefficiently use + or - instead of just entering the time (the numbered buttons only go from 1 to 6). Same with the power level. Also, once you figure out how to turn off the child lock, it is not permanent (must be reset every time there's a power outage.). Also annoying but not a big deal, the open button squeaks when we use it. Very disappointed regarding ease of use in general - it's not rocket science people! Make it self-explanatory to use! Microwaves are used everywhere and you shouldn't have to figure it out.

Confusing control

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the microwave works. It replaced a 5 year old model that was much easier to operate. This new one has no 10 button key board. After a month I still can't understand how to set percent power.
