LG air unit is THE BEST

Must have for the summer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the LG 450 sq. ft. window air conditioner for a week now, and honestly, it’s been a total game changer. My bedroom used to get unbearably hot in the summer, especially during the day, but this thing cools the room down fast and keeps it consistently comfortable—even when it’s blazing outside.
Installation was way easier than I expected. It came with everything I needed, and I got it up and running in less than an hour. Once it's in, it feels super secure and doesn't rattle or let in hot air around the edges like some cheaper units I've had in the past.
One of the things I really like is how quiet it is. I was worried it might be loud, but even on the higher settings, it just hums along in the background. I can sleep with it on all night and barely notice it. The remote is super convenient, and the digital display makes it easy to adjust the settings. Plus, the energy-saving mode and timer are perfect for keeping the electric bill under control without sacrificing comfort.

Great air conditioner!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After installing this item in my garage window, I have truly enjoyed it. It was easy to install and the noise level is very quiet. It is very energy efficient and I absolutely love the fact it comes with a remote to put a timer and control the fan speed. The airflow direction is great and is very useful on the hot summer days!

Amazing for small homes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is AMAZING for a mobile home/apartment or a room. It is an energy saver but also is amazing because it makes most of my home very cold. I have had it in the past and works AMAZING. I recommend saving money and getting one. The installation is very easy and cost effective

Easy Install, powerful, quiet and simple to use

Nicely packaged with a bag of small screws and brackets easy to access right on top of the box.
Removed the air conditioner from the box and installed the top bracket, then the 2 side brackets in about 3 minutes. Install the 2 included batteries in the remote. That was it besides putting it in the window. Removing the protective clear plastic from the front, plugging in, and turning on.
I was so surprised at how quiet this unit is being 8000 btu, I thought it would be loud. Not at all. Think of a small box fan on low.
You can set this on a 24-hour timer to make your own cooling pattern. Has the typical high,med, and low settings. All are pretty quiet. Easy to read digital display and super easy to understand remote control with power and only 5 buttons. Temp up and down, fan speed, timer, and mode.
It is so easy to use. This unit came with 3 extra optional L brackets that you can attack to the top of your window to keep it secure. It's not needed for me, but it'll keep your window from moving up and down if you've got little ones running around.
This unit gets down to temperature fairly quickly. We used it in a 400 sq ft room with cathedral ceilings, and it cooled down easily.
Im impressed. You won't be disappointed with this LG air conditioner!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this complimentary in exchange for my honest opinion. It was very easy to assemble and install,which was a great plus. The energy saver works great and cuts off when it reaches the desired temperature. The fan and compressor are very quiet when kicking on and when at use. Being able to adjust the air flow direction up and down, and left to right, makes it a great addition to this air conditioner. We live in Florida so it definitely is coming in handy. It works well and I highly recommend it. The side shutters shut perfectly and seals great.
