Bad dryer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Keeps getting stuck on the cancelling cycle screen. Have had both computer boards replaced and still the same issue. Bought it brand new and have never used it because its been stuck on that screen since i bought it and since i got the boards replaced.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Durability and great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second Whirlpool dryer that we have owned and I will likely never own another brand. Our previous dryer lasted 10 years. We use our dryer almost every day and I appreciate the durability and reliability of this dryer. There are also a lot of options that allow us to dry everything from the most delicate of delicates to to rugs and heavy blankets. The temperature options are accurate too, so no need to worry about stuff shrinking in overly hot dryer cycles. Wrinkle shield is nice too to prevent your work clothes from wrinkling when you fail to hear the end of cycle signal. ;)
My only complaint is that we also had to buy a new pedestal, as the one we had beneath our previous Whirlpool dryer did not work. IMO this is a greedy "money-grab" by the manufacturer but does not affect the quality of the dryer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellence Made in America

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Whirlpool dryer exceeds my expectations for drying, appearance, ease of operation and the many setting options. The digital display guides you in operating the dryer. Older people can be intimidated by all the bells and whistles but the Whirlpool is easy to operate even for an 83 year old.

Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my Cabrio washer died Whirlpool no longer made this model. Since the dryer was the same age (9) years as the washer a decision was made to replace dryer to match new washer and to have a warranty period.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer about a month ago. So far it's working great. I'm somewhat confused as to why it can be controlled by an app since you have to standing there to put the clothes in the dryer in the first place, but it does not detract from the use of the appliance.
