[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The display is awesome, honestly. I got it on a whim since it was discounted pretty hefty and who doesn't like pretending to save money by spending money, but less than you would have, but definitely more than you would have as well. :|
That being said. They suckered me in and I don't actually regret it. Honestly, I've been trying to get Acers' part company to call me back to replace the monitor cord for my other monitor, and got sick of not getting calls back so I did need one, and that's actually the first part of the review.
Don't lose a part. It is ***NOT*** easy, and ***NOT*** enjoyable trying to allocate parts since Acer does it through a third party.
That being said. The monitor is great. The picture feels crisp, and my old eyes feel like the refresh rate on it is stellar. I don't notice any jagged sequences, and I feel like I try to run things as fierce as I can. Granted.... I only play games like New World, Minecraft w/ max render distance (lol), and other things like APM Hearthstone Battlegrounds builds.
The colors are crisp, I do actually watch a lot of videos online, for things from school to movies themselves, the youtubes, that sort of thing. The colors are just super crisp and nicely contrasty. Some might find that display a little too warm, though. It does feel like it's on the warmer side, despite setting, though I could be using them wrong I suppose.
The button features are kind of on par for what we see these days I feel like. Better than a one-button TV but still just five buttons doing their best to work through the endless menus, features, settings, and all the individual options in between. Bro, those buttons are trying though.
Last thing. It seems big. Maybe I just underestimated the size. But crap, is it big. Relish in it. Not the kind you'd put on your hotdog... well, unless you want to?
