The Chipolo One Point is a solid entry into the Bluetooth tracker market, offering good hardware and seamless integration with Google’s Find My Device network. The build quality feels durable, and the device itself is easy to set up and use. However, its size is a bit on the larger side compared to some competitors, which might be a drawback for those looking for a more discreet tracker.
Performance-wise, it works well within Google’s Find My Device system, making it a reliable option for locating lost items. The loud alert sound is another plus, ensuring you can easily find your misplaced belongings when within range.
However, the biggest issue isn’t with the device itself but rather Android’s current limitations. Unlike Apple’s Find My network, Google’s system does not yet support out-of-range alerts, which is a major drawback for a Bluetooth tracker. This means you won’t get a notification when you leave your item behind—a crucial feature that significantly improves the usability of such devices.
Verdict
If you’re deep into the Android ecosystem and want a tracker that integrates with Google’s Find My Device, the Chipolo One Point is a solid choice. However, until Google updates its software to support out-of-range alerts, its full potential remains untapped. If that feature is important to you, you might want to look at Chipolo's other products.
It works really well with my devices and it's really helpful to have some peace of mind about my bag or wallet getting lost and being able to have the ability to find them if they are left behind somewhere at a friend's place or in public. I was also amazed by how far they can stay connected to my phone after placing my bag with the tracker outside in a big park.
Can't wait to order some more in the future for my friends and family :)

The Chipolo One Point attached inside of my backpack
A 4 pack of ONE point were purchased with the express intention of tracking luggage on holiday. We weren't looking for pinpoint accuracy, just to be safe in the knowledge that our bags were at the same airport that we were. Checking the Google Find my Device app at the end of each leg of our journey showed that our luggage had arrived with us and made us feel much more confident of arriving at our final destination together. Definitely worth it for the peace of mind.
If activated by nearby android phone, the location is displayed on the App. However, unlike Samsung trackers, it does not show a history of previous locations, which would be often helpful.
