Another Samsung Issue

For the first 18 months I’ll give it 4.5 stars. Only minor gripes about the intuitiveness and sensitivity of the menu and flat control panel that senses a cloth for cleaning with your fingers for operating.
18 months later it’s now 2 stars. But only because the stove still works. The front right burner’s small element no longer works; the other two on the burner do but now I cannot boil water effectively in a large pot without the middle of the pot getting heat.
In addition, two small divots just occurred on the glass on the front left burner. I was cleaning with the Samsung kit with a new blade so it wasn’t from that. It is just cosmetic but worth mentioning.
I based the title on the review as just last week a 4 year old tv just stopped working. Samsung is no longer making products to last.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello there,
Thank you for sharing your experience with the Samsung NSE6DG8550SR. It's clear you've enjoyed the performance for the first 18 months but have encountered some recent challenges with the control panel sensitivity and the front right burner's heating issues. I can understand how the inability to boil water effectively and the cosmetic concerns with the glass surface could be frustrating, especially when you've been maintaining it carefully.
To help with troubleshooting the front right burner, I recommend starting with the section on "Burner Issues" in your manual, which provides guidance on how to address heating inconsistencies like "Using the proper cookware." This section begins on page 24 and runs through page 28. You can also find details about proper cleaning and care starting on page 59 to ensure that the glass surface remains protected under the "Care and cleaning of the glass cooktop" section of the manual. Here's a link to your manual for further reference:
If the issue persists after following these recommendations, I encourage you to check the Samsung troubleshooting page for more advanced tips please follow the hyper links for additional instructions.

We've had our FlexDuo induction range for five months, and it has been a major disappointment. Things you should know before you buy: - The induction cooktop scratches very, very easily. - The oven hets up very, very slowly, and does not hold a consistent temperature. - The air fry feature is nowhere near as effective as a normal countertop air fryer. - the vent fan (which we didn't know was a thing) runs endlessly and loudly anytime you run the cooktop or oven, and for half an hour after you use the oven.
Overall, highly reccommend picking a higher quality stove. This one is pretty garbage. I expect we'll replace it within three years.

The Perfect Addition to our Kitchen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Bespoke Smart Slide-In Electric Range is sleek and stylish, fitting perfectly into our kitchen. It works great and is very easy to understand and use. We love that it connects to the SmartThings app as we already use it for our fridge, washer and dryer. It makes it so easy to preheat the oven and check on cooking when in another room of the house! The Air Fry option is super convenient and allows us to free up counter space as we don’t need additional small appliances now. We also love the flat cooktop. It is easy to clean and is very versatile with many different burner options. We also love that the knobs don’t easily turn on if knocked accidentally. We’ve had previous ranges where this was an issue and with a toddler was something that concerned us. But no worries here! We are in love with our new range and can’t wait to cook even more with it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Bespoke Smart Slide-In Electric Range is the perfect addition to our kitchen. It is sleek and modern. We love the Flex Duo oven, allowing us to be able to use the smaller option when we don’t need to cook a large meal. We also discovered the oven has a slide out shelf which makes it so easy to check on food when cooking. The menu dial is easy to use and moves through the different cooking options with ease! Finally, we love that the precision knobs are difficult to move which prevents accidentally turning the stovetop on; this has been a concern with our previous range and curious toddler. I also love that they light up for easy identification of what's been turned on. Overall, we are in love with our new range and see many more home cooked meals in our future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m in love with this range! It’s split upper and lower level oven so you don’t need to waste energy and electricity heating the whole oven all the time. Because the heat is confined to a smaller space you need to cut back on your usual or suggested cook times. The same goes for the range. The range is very effective and cooks evenly and quickly. I cook most items on medium heat and they cook very quickly. The only downside I’ve found is if you have small children all of the buttons are within reach and very tempting to small hands. The range knobs are childproofed to an extent- you need to pinch the sides and push in to turn- so that does help with keeping it safe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had the opportunity to try out the Flex Duo™ dual oven, and it has truly transformed my cooking experience. The ability to convert one oven into two separate cooking zones is a game-changer and purchase defying feature. I love that I can prepare multiple meals at different temperatures simultaneously—perfect for family dinners or entertaining guests. The Illuminated Precision Knobs deserve a special mention. Not only do they look sleek, but their design ensures safety and accuracy. The requirement to pinch before turning is a thoughtful feature that prevents accidental activation especially with curious little hands around. Plus, the illuminated feedback is a nice touch; it provides reassurance that the cooktop is on. The Bespoke design of the oven adds a modern flair to my kitchen. It seamlessly integrates with my décor, making it a stylish focal point. It feels premium and well-crafted, which enhances the overall cooking environment. The built-in Air Fry feature is fantastic for anyone looking to enjoy healthier fried foods without the hassle of extra appliances. The included Air Fry tray works wonderfully but I have to say that my countertop air fryer performs better perhaps due to its compact design. When it comes to baking, the Convection technology is remarkable. My dishes come out faster and more evenly cooked compared to my previous oven. I’ve achieved perfectly crispy chicken with juicy meat, which has been a delight for my family. However, I did notice a slight difference in heating when using both zones; the bottom element tends to heat up faster, so a bit of attention is required to ensure even cooking. Overall, this Samsung range oven has exceeded my expectations. It combines style, functionality, and advanced cooking technology, making it a must-have for anyone serious about their culinary adventures. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Samsung Bespoke Smart Slide-In Electric Range has been a great new addition to our kitchen. We have used the Air Fry the most so far and just love the basket it comes with along with how easy it is to use that function. The various options/sizes for the stove top are even better for us and all of our cooking, especially the rapid boil burner. The illuminated dials are great upgrade from our old appliance. Since getting it only a couple of weeks ago, we have yet to use all the different functions it has to offer and can’t wait to try them all out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had good experiences with this oven! I love the option for multiple size burners throughout the whole stovetop. It makes it easy to cook for one or a family depending on the pan size. I love the option of having a split oven is very nice. We have been able to air fry things up top while being able to bake Mac and cheese on the bottom. Air frying option is crazy efficient and fast compared to your typical air fryer. Rapid boil is also a nice option to boil water fast and be able to control it once it's at a boil. Also a very sleek and modern look.
