I got the watch yesterday and finally had it set up today. It went from 72% to 50% in about 30mins for the setup. Then after i got it set up i received an alert that it was hot. It went into SOS MODE until cooled. I continued on with the set up trying to delete some of the apps and widgets. About 10mins into that another temp notification. The watch itself was "hot" to the touch.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very disappointed in the battery life. Doesn't even last a day. And it will not charge on the back of my Z fold 6 nor my S24.The newest updates are fine, but my need of a watch that last at least 2 days is not. I will be returning it.
Frankly I think it is a better watch than 3 and 5 Pro due to being light in weight, thickness and the sapphire crystal for display. The only challenge is using wireless power share to charge it. Also the battery life is not more than 24 hours. Samsung touts the sleep apnea feature of the watch but that cannot be used due to the battery life if you are fitness and Samsung Health user.
Poor battery backup and look and size is good fit.
