Watch medical functions

I was waiting for this watch to come thinking they would be much better that the one before. The battery life is very short no matter how you use the watch. The design is uncomfortable because the bottom path is sticking out. The settings get messed up even if you set them up properly. My Samsung Watch 4 classic was much more comfortable and worked much better than this one. Also, the medical functions that are the most important for me are not accurate and even which were approved by FDA always states don't look at the results because they are not intended for diagnoses. So, completely disappointed.

We recommend checking to make sure that your watch is up to date with the latest software. From your phone, open the Galaxy Wearable app. Depending on your watch, you will either tap Watch settings or tap SETTINGS tab. Then, tap About watch, and then tap Update watch software. Or, tap About Gear, and then tap Update Gear software. Please keep in mind that we offer other bands that may fit your style, such as the Sport Band, Fabric Band, and the Athleisure Band. To keep your Watch7 running at its best and to prevent skin irritation, it's important to keep your watch dry. If it does get wet, make sure to thoroughly dry it with a clean, soft cloth. Also, dry the charging surface on the back of your watch before attaching it to a charger or wearing it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wanting to a Samsung watch for quite a while and I am very happy with it. The feature I enjoy most is the Health tracker. When I am stationary too long, it notifies me to get moving. The convenience of answering a call with a hand slight hand movement is great when your hands are full. I will be vacationing at the beach soon and cannot wait to try the water lock feature. There is an option to always show your watch face, eliminating the need to wake the watch up everytime. I'm enjoying my watch so far and have no complaints.

Still getting use to it in compare of the clasic watch. The only con is that not have the option to be able to charge with your phone. I don't like that it does not have that feature anymore.

Worth the upgrade?

I had a very hard time deciding if i wanted to keep this or not. I think the only thing that swayed me was the new health tracking. Sadly this is the only upside to this watch. My previous watch was a gear 3. The things i really don't like about this watch are as followed. Aluminum build. this is going to get destroyed very fast. Its very light and doesn't feel like a real watch. No turning bezel. trying to use the screen to navigate is a nightmare 80% of the time it doesn't matter what direction you swipe its going to pull down the settings bar. and probably the worst feature is the power / back buttons have been swapped. now in order to press back you have to put your hand in an awkward position unlike with back being at the top its very comfortable to operate. considering i had my gear 3 sense release the only time i touched the power button was to turn it on why in the world would they make it the most accessible button with no way to swap the functions in settings? blows my mind. that being said features are about the only upgrade but for me i think thats worth it. I will 100% be trading it in next time a bezel and solid stainless construction becomes available that isnt a crappy looking square box. hope this helps some people.
