Horrible battery life
on July 30, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice watch and I like that green is the default color now. But the battery life is garbage, maybe 14 hours with all the things turned off. With Bluetooth off it's fine so must be a bug, but pretty big one to go out the door with. And if it is a hardware issue, the exchange process is not good. You have to buy and pay a new one and then get a adjustment on that after a refund on the old one. Not cool. And not interested in Galaxy AI on a battery limited device.

Considerable improvement over my old watch4

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can't really say I use the watch in any original way. I mainly use it as a watch and for exercise. So far, I haven't gotten a lot longer on the battery life than the watch4 but it is improved. It also doesn't seem to have the problem with detecting my heart rate like the watch4. I have a small wrist which makes things challenging when it comes to smart watches.

This product has a great feature
on July 30, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use my galaxy watch 7 to exercise and to keep a sleep record, it helps me a lot to know if I am burning calories and helps me have better sleeping habits. I also use it when I train volleyball. I really like it since I can answer messages, calls and at a certain point it helps me wake up with the alarms. I would like the battery to last longer but overall, this is a good product to spend money on.

GREAT WATCH

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm really enjoying my Samsung watch! It's incredibly light, I hardly notice it's on my wrist. The battery life is impressive, easily lasting a full day and then some. I love all the tech features it offers, from tracking workouts to notifications. It's a great overall smartwatch.

Great New Watch
on July 30, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the Galaxy watch 4 prior to my purchase of the watch 7 and its battery didn't last 24 hours. I couldn't use it to track my sleep because of this, so when Samsung announced pre orders were open for the 7, I jumped on it. This new watch is so much brighter than the 4. The battery lasts a full 24 hours and the processing speed has greatly improved. This watch charges very quickly as compared to my 4. I'm very satisfied with my new Watch 7!

Terrible Watch 7
on July 30, 2024
Posted by: Doug50
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new Galaxy watch 7 is terrible. Can't get more than 18 hours without charging it. This is with most things turned off. My Watch 5 would last 2 full days with most things running. I have had the watch 2 4, and 5 with the Wstch 7 being terrible when it comes to battery life Wish I hadn't turned in my watch 5. So much having a Galaxy AI watch if you have to charge it up all the time...

Glad I upgraded from my watch4
on July 30, 2024

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] During preorder I got an offer to trade-in I found hard to look away from. That seduction apart I was apprehensive if I was getting drawn into the tech-upgrade-cycle Eddy and too soon. 2 weeks after getting it on hand and some misgivings (unrelated directly to watch itself per se) I have no regrets. One swallow doesn't make a summer; one fortnight, not a dream-watch, but still, here we go! Let me start from outside in: Strap (band): I got to experience both the athleisure and fabric. The breathability of both band types, and the fit, is key. No problems as w/ prior watches (sports, leather etc) caused right away cause skin irritation in a few days. IMO, watch7 comes through with flying colors (nice blend of shades on the band too - no pun intended). That sealed my first bond (band?) with my watch7. My choice was cream - watch and bands (I got two with preorder and hence I chose two types athleisure & fabric) Inside: familiar apps retained with health apps benefiting from Galaxy AI enhancements (sleep tracking options & pattern analysis, to name a few): more pleasant are on 3rd party comm & voice assist apps (Alexa,...)
Look & feel: while not dramatically improved - much more fulfilling and easy on the eye.
Find my phone app has gotten complicated. Find my watch is still not there yet.
Wishes as yet unfulfilled: * non-invssive blood glucose monitoring support (even after over 1 year of FDA approval of two solutions) * blood pressure monitor in US software.
