I purchased this case because I liked the idea of Cactus Leather and the reputation of Otterbox. I would not normally have occasion to report on the protection of the case, until I accidentally dropped my phone while boarding a plane. The phone fell onto the crack between the jet bridge and the plane, landing on the tarmac below. I don't know how many feet that is, but it was a long way! Anyway, someone from below retrieved my phone for me and the first thing I did was check the condition. I need not have worried - the phone was pristine. The only evidence of the incident was that the case had a very tiny scratch on the corner. I'll never go without an Otterbox case again!

Great concept, not that durable. I like the concept of a cactus leather case, and like the metal buttons. Both myself and coworker got these as free otter products and both of them have shown quite a bit of wear in limited time. The cactus leather rips and tears easily, especially in high wear locations.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is very cheap made and the so called leather is rubbing off after just 2 weeks. Spend the extra money and get a better case
