Copper fades off

Just bought the pan. Used it twice and followed instructions exactly. Used low to medium low heat and cooked eggs. The copper is fading off. Used vinegar and baking soda to clean the inside as instructed. No harsh chemicals or abrasive sponges. The copper was off after heating it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

WARNING!!! DO NOT BUY!!!

This is a huge warning to anyone thinking of buying this set. I've was beyond excited to finally cook on copper. I thought it was going to be a huge game changer. What happened next, was pure disappointment. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! The pans didn't even make it past the first go around. The first pan was destroyed while I was cooking hotdogs. Not a very aggressive thing to cook. The next pan was destroyed by cooking eggs. Once again, shouldn't be too tough for any quality pan. I've reached out to VIKING's support team and have not seen great support or acceptance of accountability. At this point, all I can do is share my story in hopes that it helps others to not endure the disappointment that I've had deal with. and to make people aware that these are not with the amount of money spent.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Gorgeous Copper Cookware

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is GORGEOUS. I love the copper design and look. The entire set is useful and a great set of pots and pans. They seem quite durable. Heat distributes well and we really enjoy the upgrade to our pots and pans!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set is absolutely beautiful! I love the hammered copper, the color is a bit more lighter than i expected but that was a plus for me! Heat distribution is even when cooking and clean up has been easy so far. They are a bit heavier than I am used to but also extremely sturdy, so I’m sure they will be more reliable in the long run. The set also has a good range and is useful for a variety of different dishes. So glad I had the opportunity to try these out. I would definitely recommend!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It felt like Christmas when my new pots and pans arrived. The set is gorgeous!! The hammered copper finish is stunning, and the color is that perfect copper color. The handles stay cool while cooking, which is important. Heat distribution is even and consistent. It includes four vented lids that fit all the pieces except the large frying pan. They are a little heavy, so that will take some getting used to, and I do have some concerns about cleaning and long-term maintenance. Overall, this set is so beautiful and worth the extra care to keep it looking its best.
