These are expensive for what they are. I have 4 80v batteries for 4 pieces of equipment. I bought the mower 3 years ago and the blower 2 years ago.. The equipment works pretty well, the batteries are not the best by a long shot. One battery crapped out after a year, the others are getting weaker by the month. DON'T waste your money. I am probably going back to gas because I can't afford to buy batteries every three- four years.

We are sorry to hear our 80V battery platform has not met your needs. Batteries degrade with use and storage. The overall battery life is dependent on many factors such as temperature, operating windows, charge/discharge rates, storage environment, and cycling patterns.
Electric lawn mowers generally require less maintenance than gas mowers. They do not need oil changes, spark plug replacements, or fuel refills. However, they do require regular cleaning, blade sharpening, and battery maintenance. There are several advantages over gas mowers, including being quieter, lighter, more environmentally friendly, and requiring less maintenance.
To properly care for and store your Greenworks 80V battery, store it indoors in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging.

I can usually get about 30-45 minutes of consistent run time out of this. I’d need three to continuously cycle my equipment. 1 running, 1 cooling down after the run, 1 charging. I like the rapid charging, but I’m concerned about the impacts of rapid charging on the products longevity. We will see how it holds up over time.

very expensive to replace

I bought the chainsaw and two 5ah batteries separately about 4 years ago. I love the power but when I went to use the 2nd battery this year it was DOA. I hardly ever use this saw due to moisture during spring, winter and fall and usually use my gas saw during those times. Big disappointment!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. It is recommended to store the battery with a full charge, and if it is being stored for a period where no use is expected, to check on the charge every couple of months. If you notice the charge has dropped, we advise charging the battery back up to full before returning it to its safe storage place. Following these steps will ensure you receive the most of the battery life. Please know that our batteries are covered by the manufacturer's warranty as stated in the owner’s manual period from the date of purchase.
