Protective plastic ruins the stainless steel!!

I gave a one because to give a review you have to give at least a one. We built a house, bought the range hood a couple months before installing it. The protective plastic was so stuck to the product is very difficult to get it off. And impossible to get it out of all the cracks. Then it leaves a sticky residue and I’ve tried everything to get it off. It is streaked all the time and looks terrible!!! Very unhappy with this product!! Love all our other Frigidaire products but this one deserves a zero!! Don’t buy it!
