Induction Range

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a professional chef for over 30 years, this was my first induction range at home. The minimalistic design is excellent. Design looks amazing in our kitchen. All cooking features have been well thought out. I am now converted from gas to induction, 100%. This unit does take a few high heat oven cooks to rid the new oven smell.

Excellent upgrade!

The induction cooktop really does work faster and more efficiently than our old stove and even our previous gas stove. I really appreciate the minimal heat that’s put off when using the top and the range is heavy and well constructed.

We have seen the light!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had the range for 2 weeks! This thing is a complete joy to own and operate! So easy! Very quick, fine tuning of the heat! Boils water faster than a jackrabbit on a date! The cooktop doesn't get hot, so its super easy to clean the cooktop. The oven is accurate, and versatile!

Dream Come True

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This induction range is quite an upgrade for my family. It has been in our home for a week. Sometimes practice is required to learn the operation of our new appliance, however, there is much happiness in every success! The range top is well organized. The control panel is new to my experience, but used once, a couple of times at the most, it becomes easy. The wide width of the oven is welcome. My first experience with the glide rack makes oven baking easier and safer. I like that there are only two control knobs on the front of the appliance to keep clean. Oven operation is easy using them. We are pleased with our purchase of this Frigidaire Induction Range.

Great upgrade

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from a 27 year old conventional electric. The range produces very little heat (except for the pots and pans) compared to the old. All the oven features are pluses as well. IE: convection baking and air frying. It takes a while to learn how to use it but once learned, it's great. Very pleased

Could be better

This range has been somewhat disappointing for the price. The touch controls are very finicky almost document to operate. Setting the clock is harder than it should be in 2926. One of the control boards went bad the tech could not tell me which one so all three were replaced. After seeing what it took to get at the I decided to replace all control boards. I figured it was best to just replace all three at one and be done with it and not risk further damage with repeat disassembly and assembly. This was very close to a 4 figure expense. So if you are looking at one of these consider a long term warranty purchase. On a positive note the induction works great and oven does also.
