Gallery microwave oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to replace an old Frigidaire microwave and the new 2.2 Cu Ft unit fit into the same cutout for the old 2.0 Cu Ft unit. The new unit is quieter. The only real difference we see is the old unit had a clock and new does not. But the new has the ability to add 10 or 30 seconds to the cooking time. Very happy with the new unit

We've bought this same microwave 3 times!

Sleek and Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced our 10-year old GE Profile with this Frigidaire and are very pleased with it. The unit is very sleek and matched our Frigidaire wall oven perfectly. The microwave is very quiet and very powerful, I also find the keypad easier to use. I am very pleased with this model - at first I thought it had too much black instead of stainless steel but that is not the case. It looks and works great!

Great size and fits well for the built in spot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had been searching everywhere to find a replacement microwave for our built in cabinet microwave. This microwave was a tight fit but it was just the right size. The only down side is the auto child lock and it took a while to figure out how to turn that off. The trim kit is plastic but it looks like stainless steel. Made for a nice smooth look. Just don’t over tighten the mounting screws. Very happy with the decision to buy it.

Powerful, Quiet, and Surprisingly Easy to Install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed with this Frigidaire Gallery microwave. It’s powerful, heats evenly, and runs very quietly — much quieter than my old one. The sleek design looks great in my kitchen, and installation was much easier than I expected. Honestly, the hardest part was plugging it in (that’s a joke, but it’s true — it was that simple). Everything fit perfectly, and the instructions were clear. Overall, it’s a great appliance that delivers on performance and design. Highly recommended!

Buyers remorse

I bought this Frigidaire microwave to replace a GE microwave that came with the house and it was 18 years old before it stopped working. I saw that this one had buttons for reheat and all of the other options I used. I also liked that the light was LED instead of incandescent. I purchased it without reading the owners manual first. That was a big mistake. When I went to use it that is when I discovered that Reheat is much different. On my GE I could just press reheat and it would do it, but with this you have to tell it what you are reheating and sometimes even include a quantity. It seems to overheat unless you stop it before it says it is finished. The other thing about it that to me is quite annoying is the LED display for the clock etc. It is very bright and you can't dim it, only turn it off. I have buyers remorse but unfortunately it isn't returnable which doesn't seem right. Even with that I dislike it so much that I am going to give it away and probably buy a GE. For some reason many of the new microwaves have doors that open down, which I think is a terrible design because you have to reach further to get to and see the items and it also makes it harder to clean if you are vertically challenged. There aren't many to choose from that have doors that open to the side. Anyway, be sure to read the owners manual before buying this so you don't have buyers remorse like I did.
