Gallery microwave oven

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had to replace an old Frigidaire microwave and the new 2.2 Cu Ft unit fit into the same cutout for the old 2.0 Cu Ft unit. The new unit is quieter. The only real difference we see is the old unit had a clock and new does not. But the new has the ability to add 10 or 30 seconds to the cooking time. Very happy with the new unit

We've bought this same microwave 3 times!

Buyers remorse

I bought this Frigidaire microwave to replace a GE microwave that came with the house and it was 18 years old before it stopped working. I saw that this one had buttons for reheat and all of the other options I used. I also liked that the light was LED instead of incandescent. I purchased it without reading the owners manual first. That was a big mistake. When I went to use it that is when I discovered that Reheat is much different. On my GE I could just press reheat and it would do it, but with this you have to tell it what you are reheating and sometimes even include a quantity. It seems to overheat unless you stop it before it says it is finished. The other thing about it that to me is quite annoying is the LED display for the clock etc. It is very bright and you can't dim it, only turn it off. I have buyers remorse but unfortunately it isn't returnable which doesn't seem right. Even with that I dislike it so much that I am going to give it away and probably buy a GE. For some reason many of the new microwaves have doors that open down, which I think is a terrible design because you have to reach further to get to and see the items and it also makes it harder to clean if you are vertically challenged. There aren't many to choose from that have doors that open to the side. Anyway, be sure to read the owners manual before buying this so you don't have buyers remorse like I did.

Frigidaire Gallery Microwave 2.2 Cu. Ft. Built-In

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were delighted to find that Frigidaire made a microwave meant for a 30-inch built-in space, which is what we needed to replace our former built-in microwave, The Gallery microwave is sleek, larger than what we had, and works great. It has many features, some of which are new and will be great to have. Its internal size easily accommodates extra large plates, platters and 9x12 baking dishes. We are very happy with this purchase. Finding the 30-inch trim kit was not easy; none of our local stores had it. I called Frigidaire for assistance, and they put me in touch with companies that had it in stock. I ordered it and it arrived in four days! Great customer service!

Turntable doesn’t turn on day one, repair person comes out without parts to fix, said they didn’t know what model it was, leaves and nothing has happened since. Bad product. Bad service
