I had purchased the 2.2 built-in microwave. It had been working wonderfully and recently I tried to cook a bag of microwaveable popcorn and sparks started and I could smell something burning.

perfect fit microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This built-in microwave was a great fit to replace our last one that we had for 15 years. I would give it an excellent rating, except for the high-pitched, insistent "scream" to let us know when something is finished. This sound is very annoying and followed by more loud sounds very frequently if we don't attend to it right away.

Quiet Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the Frigidaire microwave to replace older one. First thing I noticed was how quiet it was! Enjoying not having to listen to the microwave cook. Additional feature I liked was the option to not have the clock continually on. With a built on oven right below, two clocks were not necessary. Also, having 10 second option is great for pastries. The only thing I had to adjust too was the couple second delay between pushing the number and the auto start of quick cook.

Super annoying that you can call this stainless steal when the only thing stainless is the tiny strip running across the bottom. Yes the trim kit is all stainless, but most of the actual microwave is black. I also HATE the push button to open the microwave. It is TINY. We had the previous model of this microwave and had to get this one as a replacement to fit our existing trim kit (1st one went out after only 3 years.. hoping this one last longer!) As far as function, it works like a microwave should so far, just super annoyed at the change in features of this new model.
