Battery life sucks

I had this for almost a week now. I love how it sound, so many features. I like how you can control them thru the case. I just don't like the battery life and connectivity. Battery last for 4hrs, when it supposed to be 10 to 12. The range is pretty short, probably about 10 to 15 feet. Battery life is a big disappointment for me.

Thanks for your feedback on our JBL Live Beam 3. It is possible that the battery is losing its capacity. However, it is also possible that the battery is working correctly, but depletes more quickly when the volume is very loud and/or the bass has been boosted. You can try to charge the battery to 100% and then listen to music without any bass boosted, and at a very low volume. If the battery lasts close to the published up-to-playtime, the battery is working fine. However, if you get less than 90% of the published spec, this likely means that the battery is losing its capacity. For further assistance, please contact us.

Sound fades in and out.

Worked great for about 5 months and then the sound started to fade in and out of both ear buds. I have no idea what caused it but for the price i paid these should work for years with no issue.

Thanks for your feedback. Bluetooth will perform well for up to 30 feet. However, walls, obstacles, and other wireless devices can impede that 30-foot range. If it works well at 10 feet or less, it is likely that there is something interfering with your wireless Bluetooth signal, causing these dropouts. Here are some troubleshooting steps that might help isolate the issue with your JBL Live Beam 3. First, we need to determine if the problem is in the device or the earbuds. Try to connect the earbuds to a different device (phone/tablet/music player) to see if it fixes the problem. Next is reset, with both earbuds on, and not charging, tap two times, and hold the button on the third tap for more than 5 seconds. You may need to 'forget' the earbuds in Bluetooth settings on your phone/tablet in order to pair it again. If the issue remains, please contact us.

Amazing tech

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, these earbuds are one of the coolest things I own. I thought that I’d try out the screen and find it to be extremely unnecessary but here I am using it all the time. I love all the options they and I’m the type of person that likes to change the equalizer for every genre of song so it’s nice to have it right there.
These are made for the gym, for travel, for going anywhere or doing anything. They look amazing, fit into my ear perfectly, and sound immaculate. It’s a sleek design with great durability to make you feel comfortable taking them anywhere.
My only complaint is that the case is a bit large, but it still fits into my pocket and I can’t expect it to be small with how much it can do. It actually has a “Find My Buds” ability that is great for someone like me.
Overall, these are perfect and might never leave my ears again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first saw these announced at CES I was hoping to get my hands on them. And now after receiving them and testing the features from them I came away super impressed. First off the bat the packaging is always first class with all the info and features included on the box. After giving them a full charge it was time to test. Using the JBL Headphones app I synced them up and after a quick update to the newest firmware I was ready to put them to work. I recommend getting the app and adjusting the settings to your liking. Something pretty awesome that you can adjust most settings from the smart charging case. I went a size bigger from the included ear tips and the sound was super clear and nice punchy bass. I tinkered a bit with the custom EQ and sound rose to another level with clear highs and nice mid and tight bass. Hip hop sounded great and also played some quick EDM music and everything was solid in the sound department. Turning on the Talk through feature was super easy with 2 taps on the left earphone. And from the case I turned on ANC and it did a great job blocking out all noise and was easy switching back and forth. Spatial sound worked great on some movie watching I did. Had a good surround sound feeling and usually kept it on for shows and movie watching. Took them to the gym for some running and weights and see how they handle sweat.
Very impressed how they stayed in my ears really well while running and never really gave my ears any problems while wearing them for a long period of time. Even with sweaty hands the case was still easy to swipe back and forth. Even tried the find my buds feature and worked like a charm. Made a nice audible sound. I’m sure I’ll be using that more than I should. Even answered a call from my case and those 6 mics really do make the calls clear and background noise stays to a minimum also. Loved them for the gym. Back home I tried the custom wallpaper where you can display your photos on the case. Really cool. Wish you can save more than 1 on the case but maybe a future update will fix that. Even text messages, mail messages, etc pop up on the case which is a welcome feature. Would be cool if album art showed on the screen but I’m sure it’s coming soon. Battery life was exceptional. After using them for over 4 to 5 hours a day they still had charge. Didn’t charge the case after maybe a week. Even wireless charging capable for people with wireless chargers. Overall I love these earbuds and hope this review helps you give them a try. Really getting many features and sound in one awesome package.

Touchscreen accidently end calls when in pocket. No solution. I have no way how to use this great product... I recommend them to go back without touchscreen, Was happy with the live pro 2. Just can add battery time and better left time indicator
