Grill and metal cover are thinner as a result coocing quality on the cold weather is worth. Price too high compare to 2006 models.

We value your feedback, and we are sorry for the negative experience you've had with your new grill. Your satisfaction is very important to us, and we are here to help!
It sounds like your grill may be in a safety mode known as “bypass." This can be accidentally triggered during ignition, preventing proper gas flow.
Perform a soapy water leak test to check for leaks. If there is no leak, follow these instructions to reset the bypass safety mode. This is not only the reset, but how you want to light your grill each and every time.
Open the lid Make sure the gas knob is in the OFF position Turn your LP tank on all the way Wait 60-90 seconds - This is the MOST important part, especially when it's cold outside. This allows the safety feature in your grill's regulator to determine there is no leak in the gas line. Turn the knob to the ignition setting, press the button, and set the grill to high Close the lid Let your grill preheat to 450°F

I feared not getting the little crisp on steaks and burgers as I got on my (now broke) infra red grill. But even though it takes a little longer to get to the max temp, it works better than I would ever have expected. And slow cooking a whole chicken on it was amazing the results I got. Small footprint, large cook area, versatile, I love this grill!!
I really like this grill I also have a pellet grill but the Weber is really good if you have something that you want to cook quickly. Overall the construction and materials are very good. The little tables on the the side are flimsy and I just removed them early on.
Very short hose. Must also purchase the cart for in order to use in different environments.

I liked my old Weber grill better. The side shelves folded up, the ones on this grill I have to remove because they don't fold up. I also liked my old grill grate better. It was the same design for the whole grill. This one is half like my old one and the other half, well after several months I still don't understand what the reasoning is for the difference.
I have owned several Webbers over the years. Mostly charcoal. Still have a big 36 inch. We’re spending a lot of time in a fifth wheel RV these days. So I bought the 2800 for its compact yet high heat capability. It does not disappoint. It sears steaks beautifully. The first time I used it I did not have the regulator in the correct orientation and could not get it to temperature. Once I figured that out, the grill works superbly.
