Great traveler Grill. I was the envy of all my camping companions. One actuality went out and bought one when were came back home. It gets "real hot" for searing and real low for slow cooking. I bought the griddle for it to complete all my campsite cooking needs. Highly recommend!
Love the Q 2800 N wish they had a cart that was half way decent I have owned 6 different Weber’s loved them all. Owned 3 different portable carts AII crap
I have been a Loyal Weber Grill fan since the 70's. My mom actually wrote the insurance polcies for Webner Stevens many years ago. I tell anyone who will listen you can't purcahse a better product, is it the cheapest grill, no, you pay for quality and that is EXACTLY what you get with a Weber. This grill is amazing, there is no other words to describe. I purchase the Q2800 because of the boost burner. Yesterday I timed it and it was at 600 degrees in less then 10 minutes. Chars incredibly well, Heats up Quick and is a pleasure to use. Making Pizzas with a pizza stone on this beast, is, in a word FUN reaching about 700 degrees in 14 Minutes. The Pizza comes out as good as any pizze place as the key is the TEMPRETURE and this takes care of it quickly.
Everybody is different and people want different things. If you have a grill like the Q2800 that does everything fantastic, ask your self why would you ever buy anything different. In 1991 I purchase the first series of the Gensis Model, I only got 17 years of use out of it. LOL.
Name one product you can get that kind of service out of....Just one
Great grill, very sturdy, heats quickly. Heat control is very accurate, and the unit is fairly easy clean. I also purchased the griddle, it works great with this unit.
This is just what I wanted to replace my aging Q1200 with something a little bit bigger. I love the center burner to both heat up the grill quicker, and to provide a low temp option when used alone. I was disappointed that I had to buy the light extra; it was Included with the Q1200. I also wish that the hose to connect to the tank was about 6 - 8 inches longer; that would have made setup easier.
