Carry case does just what it says. Would be nice to have some padding to protect griddle, but no big deal. Zipper works just fine, not sure why other customer had issues. It’s a zipper….

Strange Zipper

I opted for this travel bag over the regular bag because I wanted the handles on the side. I have the 17" griddle. But that zipper...this zipper....the zipper is rough to get it closed. The way the zipper tracks and edge of bag are designed it is hard to get the two edges to meet and smoothly zip closed. The zipper edge is at the bottom along the front/length of the bag. They whouldnhave had the zipper edges up top like a lid closing. It would be easier to get the edges to track together. Unzipping is fine.
It is a looser fit on the 17" but the strap inside holds it in place well. I was able to store a bag of tools/supplies inside also. The handles work fine and help to lift it. Good quality bag material. I may try the regular storage bag and see how easy it is to lift/move, and then return this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recommend gently folding the reinforced seam inward while zipping around the corner. This will bring the zipper closer together without adding additional stress on the pull.
