Looks great and works well. Easy to assemble. Cross threaded one bolt but it still came together. My 19-year-old previously owned grill, also a Weber, is still working. I expect this one to live up to the legend.
We had a 20-year-old spirit grill that needed to have the valves replaced for the second time. We decided after looking at the grill and the bigger picture to replace it with this so far it’s a very good choice, and we love the fact that it’s portable. It would be great if the cover would also cover the side shelves.
The assembly was okay. The diagrams were fine except for mounting the top to the stand. You had to watch for how the edges lined up. The grill warmed quickly and held the temperature fine.
The weber Q 2800+ Gas Grill with Stand is easy to set up, works, and cooks my food with ease. It looks great too. I have been a weber Q grill buyer and user for the last three Gas Grills and I always like the quality of this cooking tool. I highly recommend it.
Wonderful grill. Roomy enough to make multiple items at once, but still small enough to fit in the tight space of my small patio The stand keeps my propane tank contained and is easy to roll around whenever I need it to be moved My only complaint is the side trays. Totally unexpected issue. The side trays don’t seem to fold into the grill for storage like my smaller model. I don’t like this at all. It makes it necessary for me to take them off when I want to put the grill cover on. I’m also not impressed by the quality of these trays. A poorer grade of plastic than I expected Overall it’s a great grill. I use it much more often than the much larger one I used to have. I would however suggest something be done about these side trays. Or if I assembled something wrong someone please guide me through the mistake.
