The Great Hall is truly a spellbinding set that brought immense joy to our family! My 10-year-old son had been eyeing this set for a while, and it did not disappoint. From the moment we opened the box, the excitement of diving into the wizarding world was palpable.
The build was an absolute delight. It was engaging without being overwhelming, and the detailed instructions made the process smooth and enjoyable. My son and I worked on it together, which made for some fantastic bonding time. The intricate designs of the castle—right down to the stained-glass windows and magical accessories—transported us straight to the heart of Hogwarts.
What makes this set stand out is the incredible attention to detail. From the floating candles to the house banners, every piece adds to the authenticity of the Great Hall. The set is also a great display piece, adding a magical touch to any room. Thankfully, we were able to collect 4 different collectible portraits just in this build and looking forward to finishing the entire set of 14 soon.
If you’re a Harry Potter fan or simply love detailed Lego builds, this set is a must-have. My son is already planning his next adventure with Lego Harry Potter sets! Highly recommend for hours of creative fun and family bonding.

Really enjoyable build

I love the way the bags were separated with the separate instructions! Makes building with my 2 boys much more enjoyable because one kid could build the bathroom while the other built the classroom.

Nothing felt repetitive with this build which made the process enjoyable all the way through. Pretty easy build, my 4 yo had no issues!
Lastly, I could not get my kids interested with Harry Potter until I bought this HP Lego set. Being able to explain different scenes of the movie through Lego got the kids interested enough to watch the movies! Now they are Harry fans and cant wait for the next build! Thank you Lego 💛
My only down side:
my favorite part of the process is when you can’t tell what you’re building until the very end because the building technique is so wild. Unfortunately in this build, there were no building techniques that wowed me, pretty simple and predictive. On the other hand, it has plenty of references from the movie so I’m still very happy with the build!

My Favorite Lego Harry Potter Set

Hello all. I wanted to write a review on this set because I believe it is garnering unwarranted hate. This is this most accurate and detailed Hogwarts Castle: The Great hall. You can recreate almost the entire first film with the figures and scenes provided in this set. It is modular and easy to handle and move around. The play features are fun and I can't wait to see how this castle is going to grow in the future.
