The whole idea of swapping parts from one build, with the parts of another build, is quite ingenious. My first thought was, "Why would I want to mess with designs that were so great as they were?" But then the creative side of me said, "How cool is that? It's a great idea for a creative product. "

Great upgrades over the previous tie fighter and x wing. Amazing looking body on the tie fighter and great looking x wing overall and retractable landing gear is a plus. Play feature is super unique.

I am not a fan of the "mash-up" but purchased this kit to go with some of the other LEGO Star Wars "aircraft" I have. Instructions weren't the best, but easy enough to follow.
