Overall building experience is good. I have issues with the friends sets as play sets. The play areas are too small, making play challenging. The top area where the treasure is you can’t play unless you take the roof off. It’s designed for that, but it’s still not the best design. I can tell it’s done this way to save money in the build vs making the areas bigger to make the play better. So overall fun build, but not the best play. I remember Lego play different as a child. We may need to stick to other forms of play for the kids and legos will be more of a build challenge from time to time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
