The beheading of simba

My son built this and was so proud of himself only to have the head fall off and have to rebuild it multiple times by the 4th rebuild he was crying because he was so upset. I rebuilt it and also can’t get the head to securely attach. In researching this I’m seeing this is a common issue even happening to multiple displays. Very disappointing
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Complete but the instructions were very easy to follow. Once complete this set is very durable and seems like it will hold up well. There are several numbered bags to make it easy to follow on how to put together. Overall this set is amazing and love how it looks in the end!!

Really good job of making a cute young Simba

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This year marks the 30th Anniversary since Disney’s The Lion King was released in cinemas. To coincide with the 30th Anniversary of the film, the LEGO Group has recreated Simba. We are a Lego fans family, so it was perfect to spend time together with this set. Simba’s build is, from initial inspection, fantastic. It takes up a large amount of space, the color of flemish-yellow is striking, and the expression is clear. The set's designers spent a lot of effort getting the organic feel of Simba out for the model. I have to commend them for that!

Being able to spread out the various parts of the model so multiple people can work on different aspects of the build is essential.great design, durable, and plenty safe for anyone in the family to play and assist with building.

the build went pretty well till I went to attach the head and it would not attach. I had to nearly do a complete disassembly of the body before I was able to get the head attached then when I was trying to attach one of the back legs it came all apart. That is where I walked away. I will go back to it at some pint but am to frustratedt with it at this time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Lego is extreme big and fun to assemble, although it took me over eight hours I would recommend to people who could have the skills and spare time to assemble. Although it’s not durable and the head did fall off several times it taught me several building skills. I would not recommend purchasing if you have little rascals around your house, because they will damage it.

Lion king Simba

Everything about this build screams out for my child hood but we had one issue. Everything is the description was perfect but one thing didn’t sit well for me. Every time we have something shipped from Lego the box is bent and damaged. I will no longer order shipped items. Will pick up.
