Black bricks seemed like the where factory seconds, dull, hazy, showing the bottom on the top.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This build was outrageously fantastic. It looks terrific, it's got a great retro feel, it's a wonderful nod to the campiness of the Batman TV show that (some) of us were raised on. Not a difficult build, but very rewarding.
And do yourself a favor: Buy a lighting kit. It only makes it better.
I gravitate to, and enjoy, the nostalgic TV/Movie vehicle builds (Back to the Future, Ghostbusters, etc) and this one might be my favorite. Really captures all of the details from the show.
Slightly disappointed with the absence of steering, or engine & drivetrain, but overall just a fun build. Highly recommend.
This is a great companion to the tumber and '89 batmobile and the price is pretty reasonable. Printed blocks would have been great, but the sitckers were understandable given the price. There were two glaring ommisions. 1- No robin minifig! The other batmobiles came with 2-3 minis and classic Robin should have been a no-brainer for this one. 2- No steering! How can a model this size not accomodate steering? All together, a solid looking model, but I think it could have been great.
This product is one of the best set I’ve done I love every minute of it and I love it so much that I can’t wait to buy another set to start building it
