Overall it was a fun build. Never a fan of tiny stickers on little pieces. Always enjoyed the classic show so nice to have an icon piece of it in my collection. Found a fun case for it as well!

I read some of other reviews and I think the decision to not include at least Robin in this set is criminal, but I honestly didn't think there was going to be a Batman from the box art.
The stickers are a pain, and there are a lot of very small ones to try and line up perfectly. Some people love to do that stuff, I'm getting old, I'm not crazy about doing it. My stickers lined up perfectly on the print out, maybe not perfectly on the installation.
I enjoyed the build for the most part, but there are pieces on this (the fenders, wings, roof bits) that will easily come off if it is handled incorrectly. I definitely would not give this to a child for play time, or let the fur babies near it.

Stickers, Robin, Build Quality

After the '89 Batman vehicle, I've been collecting each of these larger sets. That one set and still holds the highest standard from the ingenious piece design, details, and build quality, even though most of the pieces were in, as Batman would have wanted, black or very dark grey.
This set was a bit disappointing. Although some of the building techniques were very well done, and the injection of red for the design was a welcome change, the overall build quality at the end doesn't compare to the others. Whether it is things like the static wheel, or the red at the front not quite lining up, it felt like "good enough". Not what I've come to expect of Lego in recent memory.
The stickers were ridiculous, and as other reviewers said, the worst offender was arguably the wings on the back. Also, what a missed opportunity for solving a problem with lego as opposed to relying on stickers. I guess at the size that is difficult, but eight stickers for four just those four pieces, was just too much. In total, how many stickers?? Lastly, the missing Robin, yeah that's a definite bummer. I guess it's hard because his trousers would look less like briefs and more like... so, I get it, but a shame.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When I was a little kid I used to watch the original batman series with my sister and my favorite part was all of batman's different vehicles I think this car was the perfect recreation of the car and I would love to see the batcycle from 1966 done next.

One of the most enjoyable builds of a large-scale car that I've had in a while, great lines and curves. Fins and interior look awesome. It's long, about the length of Ecto1. Wish it came with a Robin Boy Wonder minifig to accompany Batman like in the TV series. It's a great set!! (Would have added pics, but kept getting error messages, sorry)
