First off love the set! I was so excited when it was announced to come out. But beware of the stickers. I knew there would be a lot of stickers because if they did it right everything in the Batmobile was going to be labeled. But I didn’t realize how many stickers there would be. They labeled things outside of the car that are not labeled in the show but it’s so you know what it does if you haven’t seen the show in a while. There is one sticker that I hated putting on. It’s a circle tile with a hole in it, Terrible sticker. They should have made that a print piece since it is a compass and they could use it other build. Also feel like the specification plaque should be printed. Also. if you are hoping for creator car style with the hood and doors opening, sorry. Only the trunk opens to show the mobile crime computer. No opening doors. Other than that the set is great. The build is amazing. The end product looks great. I do wish we got Robin to go with Batman. Since the only TV Series Robin we got was in the Batcave a while ago.
First off, if you're expecting opening doors/hood, detailed engine, and steering... you're gonna be disappointed. However, if you want a LEGO version of the coolest Batmobile ever... (That's right. COOLEST EVER! PERIOD!) you WON'T be disappointed. All the Bat- gadgets are present and you can always add your own or make these work. Cockpit glass was individually package so no scratches. Instructions are straightforward and easy to follow. Word of caution, though, watch placement of stickers on door and Bat-computer wires in trunk. Pieces overlap and could cover them.

I was underwhelmed with the build and the result. No engine under the hood, no side doors, steering wheel is static, and no other special functions. Nice display but that’s it
On page 27 of the instructions you have to place the large black plate on the frame. However, there are no other pieces registering its location. Make sure you have it centered! Unfortunately I placed it one stud forward.
I didn't realize my mistake until page 227 when you're supposed to place two corner pieces in a gap which didn't exist on my model. Now I have to pretty much disassemble the whole thing to fix it. I have put together hundreds of Lego sets and around ten of the big car sets. I've never made a mistake to this degree.
I'm going to blame the design/instructions on this one. I'm not sure how I progressed so far into the build without issue. It is super frustrating to now have to rebuild it without the benefit of numbered bags.
This set was fun and easy to build. I really like the way the build came out. I got this set mainly for it's nostalgic value to me.

This was a fun build and easy to put together. I would just mention that the fault of this would be pieces will fall off to easily, especially the rear wings and fender over the wheel. This is probably due to a flaw in the design. You could use glue to hold the pieces together if you choose to do that, I myself do not use glue as my legos stays together except for this set.

Hi! Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! We're very relieved to hear you don't use glue to keep your sets together as this definitely shouldn't be needed. We think perhaps a little bit of rebuilding could help? Sometimes there may be a piece just a little off from where it should be. If you find that's not the case, or need help troubleshooting the build, please do let us know via LEGO.build/Service-BV.
