Get rid of sticker sheets please

This is a great set I just wish Lego would stop with the stickers. We are already paying top dollar for these sets and your competitors with cheaper prices are printing all their pieces.
It seems as Lego realizes they have a strong 18+ market, they tend to give up on the innovations. That's not for everything - The Ecto 1, for instance, had some very impressive features, but even that was weak and fell apart easily. The Classic TV series Batmobile is nice and sturdy, especially for the weird angles and fins, but it's nothing special. The only moving part is the trunk opens and it rolls. There's no engine compartment, no spinning lights, not even steerable suspension, which has pretty much become a standard for Lego vehicles. This is literally something to build and put on the shelf. It's nice looking, don't get me wrong, just a little boring.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts! We appreciate your feedback and understand your concerns about innovation in our 18+ sets. While we aim to create models that are visually appealing and showcase iconic designs, we also strive to balance complexity and sturdiness. We're glad you found some enjoyment in the Batmobile's aesthetics, and we hope to bring more engaging experiences to our fans in the future!
I don’t think I’ve ever been so disappointed in a set I’ve purchased, so much so I wish I hadn’t brought it home. First, the stickers - 38 of them, to be exact. And they are tiny labels on tiny pieces and for someone who likes everything to be even, it was arduous. As in NO FUN.
Second, I love things that “work.” I enjoyed building the red farm truck and was so happy with the fact that the doors work, the steering wheel controls the front axle, the hood opens to reveal a very spiffy engine. It’s playable beyond the build.
This Batmobile however? Nah. First off, the build is rather boring - so many instances of “make 2” or “make 4.” Yawn - didn’t have to look at the instructions half the time. The steering wheel is just positioned onto a stickered console (and falls off easily), a small section of the trunk and hood open, and for something that was supposedly a careful replica, there are no working doors. Some of the later batmobiles didn’t have doors, I guess, but I’d read that this version did.
Anyway, it should work. It just should. I went from excited to “bleh.” And just wanted to get it done.
It is basically a heavy replica model. Just not impressed. Could have been excellent.
The techniques in this build are incredible. The curves of this car are beautiful and I can’t believe someone figured out how to do them all! It looks so good!
I've been building LEGOs for a long time-my Rebrickable is well over 20,000 dollars, & this will be my last LEGO purchase. All of the black flat panels are milky, & show the ghost rings of the underneath. The only black pieces in the set are the female hinge flats for the trunk-which stand out like a sore thumb. I don't know what happened to LEGO, but from now on I'll find another hobby. I don't want a refund, or another set-I just want to warn other serious builders against this set. I hope they fix the quality issues, but I'm not going to spend my money to find out.
Ive put this set off for a long time, finally bought it and built it. The value for the this is great, The overrall design and build is fantastic as well. Only bad thing is the stickers, as I hate stickers but would still recommend. Love this set!
