A lackadaisical and overpriced offering.

Full disclosure, I'm a Trekkie.
For me, this kit is a sloppy fit with a lazy design pertaining to parts selection and fitment.
I guess if hiding random colored blocks and a banana in a flimsy overpriced theme soecific based model is your thing and being challenged, entertained for hours, to be rewarded with an exciting finished product isn't important, by all means, pony up....it's your money

I got this set because I am a Star Wars nerd and longtime Lego fan, and I NEED Star Wars stuff. My room is literally Star Wars and a handful of other stuff. This set is very cool and the starfighter is a fun build and good to display. However, I have one issue with the set: what is an Ackbar trooper? It’s a Mon Calamari in a clone armor suit…? And admiral Ackbar is a single character, not a race. He’s Mon Calamari as well. Now, I’m just plain confused what this figure is.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very fun

Fun to build, overall looks good with some creative plate uses. Solid feel, doesn't seem like it's gonna break if dropped on carpet while keeping a very "swooshable" design. Everything fits, especially love the extra clip on the bottom for the spare missile!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Fun build

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 12yr old son loved putting this together. He told me that there were a couple points in the instructions that he was confused with, but overall he didn’t have a ton of trouble getting it together. The pieces (like most standard LEGO products) are small and it’s not suitable for young children or anyone prone to sticking random things in their mouth.

Fun little build!

It's interactive, with the spring loaded shooters and retractable landing gear, plus it comes with a few adorable characters to add some interest to imaginative play. Great add to our growing LEGO collection!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a set for teenagers/preteens My son absolutely was ecstatic to receive this set in the mail. He said it wasn't too challenging to put together. It took him maybe 5 hours from start to finish. The directions were perfectly clear, and all the numbered bags made it easy to follow. I would definitely buy him more....andni have since for Chirstmas.

I got this and built it pretty quickly when it released. It was a fun build and I got some wacky mini figures out of it. It’s a great take on a Jedi Star fighter for those who enjoy Star Wars Lego for what it is. If you’re a grandparent thinking of getting this set for a grandchild, maybe make sure they want it first as it is kind of a love note to older Star Wars Lego fans. But overall I highly enjoyed this set.
