This set is an absolute joy. My youngest enjoyed the layers of the Aft Pallet Assembly the most. Kudos to the designers. The attention to detail and post-assembly playability is remarkable.

Over the Moon for this Lego Kit!

Incredible design and detail

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best Lego set we have had! My family and I are enjoying time together putting the NASA Apollo Lunar Rover together. Although it has almost 2,000 pieces, it is extremely well organized and packaged with detail. The booklet is very precise and the steps are clear for even a beginner builder. Each bag is numbered clearly and the prices are made with excellent quality, as with all Lego sets. I’m very impressed with the dimensions and look forward to many nights building. I would highly recommend this Lego set.

Loved building the LRV, but... when I got to that contraption on the back with all the tools, I very much wanted the build to be over. I should have stopped before those bags.

This is a challenging and rewarding build and is not one you will have completed in a weekend. It comes with functional steering, suspension and deployable equipment for interactive fun. It looks sturdy but some sections feel a bit delicate when handling. This model is a great representation of the iconic moon buggy. With over 500 pieces, this set is perfect for more experienced LEGO builders.
