Was a bit daunted at first, but as I progressed, it all made sense.
Everything worked as expected and has become a talking point t when people visit..

I was so excited for this set but it turned into such a disappointment. The pneumatics do not work and it’s hard to troubleshoot what the problem truly is. You don’t get to fully test the pneumatics until step 89. Step 42 is when you install the first pneumatic (blue) and then you build over top of it so in order to pull that pneumatic back off to try and determine if that one is the problem I have to remove almost 40 steps of pieces that are all locked together. I expected so much more from LEGO.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

First purchase for myself in 2 yrs. Love the look of the windsail, how many cars can you build at this point. Unfortunately, the pneumatics did not function. We built it two times and no bueno on the windsail moving. Either way, great display piece. Larger than anticipated.

I think this was a great first build to get into the idea of legos. And this is was so much fun! I built it in three days. There were some parts where I was confused and I had to re do some of it. I didn't like how some of it was unclear, but overall easy and fun to build! I loved it!

Really loved building this model. As others have mentioned, I never quite got the pneumatics to work, but whatever! It's a great design, and fun to build. I'm a long time sailor and actually know two peoploe who race on the real ones. This model is a great representation and looks really cool when it's finished.
