[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LEGO race car set has been a huge hit with our boys (ages 7 and 3.5)! They are absolutely thrilled with the building process and playing with it afterward. The set includes many interesting small parts, making the assembly both exciting and engaging. We especially loved the abundance of stickers, which add even more realism and fun.
As always, LEGO impresses with its top-notch quality and thoughtful design. The race car series is fantastic, and we’re already planning to buy more models from this collection. It’s an excellent toy that brings so much joy and creativity to the kids!

Didn't love it - tedious build

I didn't love the building process here. The finished product is a faithful replica, but the process to get there involves smaller pieces and I was not a fan of some of the trim and front bumper parts. It had a delicate feel to it and not one I would play with.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When I first saw this set, I wanted it. I don't have a lot of speed champions, but I liked the look. The build was not very easy, and the parts for the exhaust keep falling off. They use a few pivoting pieces to get it to look good, which works. Sometimes it was a bit difficult to get them in the right position to get the next piece to fit.
If you are like me, and hate/are not very good applying decals, skip this build, unless you really want it. There are almost 30 decals to apply, and they in very odd places. Most are applied after the parts are in place. This gets the rating that I gave for the difficult and falling off parts, and the decals. I don't want to move it much, so I don't worry about parts coming off.

A refreshing addition

I've been collecting and building Speed Champions for years now and, to be honest, the build process was starting to feel a little repetitive for many offerings but that is definitely not the case here. The car has a very unique shape, realized via a number of clever building techniques, packing a lot of form details into a small package. A small handful of pre-printed pieces add just enough depth to the model such that it even looks good without applying the stickers (which, being a Speed Champions car, amounts to about two dozen tiny labels - typical for the line)
My main criticism of this line since the early 6-wide offerings was that the form language was too simple and the models relied too much on stickers to "sell" the finished design. This model could not be further removed from that. It's complex forms are compelling; the build experience is refreshingly unique (after building dozens of these vehicles), and the finished product looks delicate but powerful and stands up to normal play wear and tear in the hands of my eight year old.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I haven’t completed it yet but the instructions are very helpful. 230 pieces divided into 2 bags based on function. The design is nice. Super excited to see the end result. Age is 10+ and I would definitely recommend following because some of the piece are small and may possibly cause choking

Several unique building techniques and not built like most vehicles in this series. I really liked the building. Maybe a different color. Too many stickers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Lego Speed Champions Lamborghini set is such a fun build! It took me about an hour to build, and this set is cool! I love all the small details like the car actually rolling and the girl actually fitting in it. Definitely recommend!
