Fun fun fun

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Lego set was so much fun! It was so organized with each bag labeled and numbered to coincide with the instruction book. The instructions were so user friendly and pretty easy to follow. It was done in sections than you add together the sections and create the giant figure. I thought the size was perfect. This thing is pretty large and hefty. It displays beautifully and being in a house of Star Wars fans it gets lots of attention. I had so much fun putting this together that I went and bought a few more coordinating Star Wars LEGO sets to do.

C-3PO is a very simple build. I found it to be very easy and built it in a couple of hours. For the cost I had hoped it would be more challenging. The R2D2 was more challenging than this.

This set is amazing. An elegant display model that brilliantly captures C-3PO in Lego form. It was a thrilling build process with delightful techniques and details. Let’s dive into the pros and cons.
Pros: The display plaque is incredibly detailed and has a spot for the best C-3PO minifigure money can buy. The build is wonderful and a faithful representation of our favorite droid butler. He also pairs perfectly with the R2-D2.
Cons: This is an 18+ set, made for collectors, so if Lego is going to be charging a premium price, I am going to be appalled to find a fairly lengthy sticker sheet. This set would be all the better if they simply used all printed parts. But if they do that, they need to make sure the color matches….without using Photoshop!
I would recommend this to a friend!

This build was very fun and adequately captures the quirkiness of C-3PO. For the price, I felt like I got plenty of build time and good final product size. I probably would’ve enjoyed a slightly more difficult build but nevertheless this was and is an excellent set! 10/10

Funky base

overall, really nice Build. The base is a little wobbly because the last brick of the layer isn’t one big one. It’s a whole bunch of stacks so every time I go and grab it it breaks off the base and pieces go flying.
also the head doesn’t snap on I get the ability for it to be able to turn, but it quite literally just falls off when I was looking to fix the base. It rolled right off my table when I had previously put it on already.
