This is the droid I'm looking for

Such a fun build. Watching C3PO come to life with each part made me giggle like a child. Attention to detail is spot on too, especially with the hands and helmet. Highly recommend this set for collectors or enthusiasts!
This set pairs really well with the smaller R2 unit. 😁

I always adjust the build

I thought it could easily be taken off the base, it was to wobbly and had to adjust. I need extra part to modify.

Newly Minted Star Wars Fan

I was in a retreat for work that lasted from about 9:30 to 4:30 in the afternoon. Luckily I brought this set with me, and I actually finished it while listening to what felt like a million presentations for one work day. This was a fun way to technically go to work, but it was also a great conversation starter with my colleagues. Very fun build.

Quality and value for money just not here

Received this as a gift for my birthday and was beyond excited as I already have R2D2 so this was the missing piece. Sadly as soon as I started the build I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the gold parts. My past are just covered in lines, which I'm sure are possible just from the mold but this isn't accurately shown on the box at all so I feel like you aren't getting the product that is advertised to you. It's super disappointing considering the price also. I reached out to lego and they asked for pictures and said they could possibly replace some of the parts for me but it's been weeks and I haven't heard back. Maybe you'll have better luck with the quality you receive.

The quality of other products is usually thoughtful but this falls into the category of cheaper build, play on the StarWars name. The big miss by lego was the shine of C3PO which was a big part of his allure. Be cutting edge Lego, use a cover piece that is a metallic finish otherwise it looks like a practice piece.

Severe Disappointment

Of all the Star Wars set I have been looking forward to was the Cp30. It looks as if there was no thought put into just how important this character is. Just thought it would have been given more attention to detail.

Does not scale with current R2-D2
on September 14, 2024

I really enjoyed this build and was very excited to display him with my current R2-D2. As an avid Lego and Star War enthusiast I replaced my aging R2 Lego model with the more current release a few years back.
Lo and behold even though both this C-3PO and the current R2-D2 model are part of Lego’s “50th anniversary” series for Star Wars they are not to scale.
I know it calls it out in the description but it is just disappointing overall. Again the build for C-3PO was fun but ended in disappointment when I went to setup my display only realizing it required the older R2-D2 Lego set.

Most robots walk right? Then can someone please tell me why in the world this does not walk. Why! The design is also fragile. Would not waste money on
