"Random" blindboxes didn't feel so random...

I ordered two if these 6-pack minifig blindboxes. I opened the first box and there were no duplicates, hooray! But then I opened the second box, and all 6 minifigs were the exact same as the first box. They were even packaged in the same sequence! Meaning the first minifig from box 1 was the same as the first one in box 2, the 2nd minifig was the same in both boxes, etc, all the way through #6! I would understand a couple of duplicates, as that is the nature of blindboxing, but receiving two *IDENTICAL* 6-packs that are claimed to have "random" contents?! That is either an astronomically implausible coincidence, or an unfortunate failure by LEGO on a supposedly random product line.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Yeah, when I buy a bunch of mystery items I might expect a duplicate here and there but I now have exactly 2 of these minifigures on display and the rest bagged up if that tells you anything. Anyone want a Mindflayer or Vampire? I got em.

Duplicates!

Like all of the other reviews, I've received more duplicates than I know what to do with. I bought five boxes and I still need two figures to complete the set. Those aren't the best of odds. Still, they mini-figures are amazing and a worthwhile addition to any collection. I'm going to buy a few more individuals and try my luck.

BUY ONE AT A TIME: Great Collection!

I learned my lesson lastvyear with the Marvel minifigures and only bought one box to start, as buying multiple boxes at the same time seems to lead to getting 2-3 of the exact same boxes, and I'm quite pleased!
All six of the minifigures in the box were different; I got the "villain" box, which has Strahd, Szass Tam, Tasha the Witch Queen, the Gith Warlock, the Mind Flayer and the woman in the mask whose name I cannot remember (we are only slowly making our way through mainstream DND.)
All of the minifigs are excellent. Thr little details are so good. These can stand on their own or (as in my case) populate the Dunegons and Dragons: Red Dragon's Tale set. The other box variant seems to be the "hero" box, so I'll be looking to pick that up sometime soon to complete the set!
Buy these boxes one and a time. You won't regret it! Knowing that all six minifigs in the box are going to be different is great.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Awful Sorting but Amazing Minifigures

I ordered 4 of these 6-packs and received the exact same 6 minifigures in each of the 4 packs. It seems others have had similar experiences, but this seems outlandishly improbable. I like the randomness of not knowing what you will get, but getting quadruples of the same 6 minifigures is extremely disappointing. I will definitely be scanning minifigures in-store for the next series, rather than buying these boxes online.

I as many others here have stated bought 2 boxes thinking I would get at least some variation of the characters, but nope I got two boxes of the same exact ones! Very disappointed for the money I have spent!

I purchased 2 boxes thinking I would get 12 unique figures and upon arrival and opening each figure I got duplicate of the exact same figures. Better to get them in person I guess

I’m not sure what happened with the other people . I ordered 3 boxes to be safe and got the full set and 6 duplicates. Which I was ok with cause all the mini figs in this series are top notch . Not just the Knight . But yes it can still be a gamble
