I've been a fan of Lego products for almost 30 years now. This is the first time I have ever had anything negative to say.
While the minifigures are fantastic. Love the level of detail in them and the fact that they are D&D-centric, it's fantastic.
My real complaint is that the randomization is awful. I bought two six pack boxes and both of those boxes were indentical. So, I had repeats of the same six figures. That's a little frustrating, but I understand it's random.
Several days later, I bought two additional six pack boxes hoping to finish the collection. I got another six of the same figures I already had and the other box had three repeats and three new ones.
Out of four boxes (24 minifigures, I only had 9 out of the 12).
I had to do some online research, found the QR code scanner option, and went to a local store to get the final three.
The randomization of these minis feels like a gimmick and a ripoff. To improve this, Lego should just sell a complete set option of all 12 from the series for collectors. Remove the randomization option for those who are looking to complete a series (especially for a special release like Dungeons & Dragons where you don't have your typical Lego fans buying things).
For those looking to buy these boxes. I would recommend buying one of the six packs (since the boxes won't have repeats inside them) and then going to a local store to finish off your collection or look for specific ones that you might want.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The product is great, but they just send you the same boxes it seems. Wish there was a better way to know or at least purchase different groupings of them, the duplicates are a let down (unless you want a ton of them for monsters if you're actually running D&D)

I placed an order for two packs of 6 and I got a little nervous about opening once they arrived because I didn't look at the reviews where a lot of people were getting duplicates until after they had shipped. When they arrived I thought about returning them to my lego store unopened but I decided to open them anyway and I'm glad I did. I ended up getting all twelve minis with no duplicates! I don't know if I just got lucky or if whoever packaged it made sure to give a good selection. Either way happy with the result

Bought two boxes hoping for the full set, got duplicated boxes. Bought another box, then another box, and just bought the 5th to have 5 copies of half the set.
