Cute but there’s no base!

We have the original nutcracker #40254, so we were excited for a new addition. We enjoyed the design details and are glad we purchased it. The major flaw is there is no base like the other set! It looks odd next to the other one, and Lego missed the mark on omitting this part of the build. We’ll modify the build with our own base which will still be fun.

Festive, but missing a piece

I wish they used a lighter brown color to look like the actual traditional nutcracker. I liked how the mouth moved and you have the option to make two different facial expressions. I was disappointed that it was missing a piece since this seems to be a reoccurring issue lately with lego sets. If it had all the pieces, I would have rated it higher. It is a cure festive piece.

Legs Out of Proportion

The legs are out of proportion with the body. I added i more white barrel to each leg and placed it on a pedestal. Makes for a better look when displayed with the other nutcracker that came out a few years back.
